Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will make a two-day official visit to Sweden on June 15-16 to further deepen and expand the cooperation between the two countries. She will leave for Sweden en route to London tomorrow noon. Hasina is the first head of state or government who is making a bilateral visit to Sweden. The Bangladesh leader was going to Sweden at the invitation of Swedish Prime Minister Stefan Lofven, Foreign Minister AH Mahmood Ali said at a curtain raiser press conference at the foreign ministry yesterday. Hasina will lead a high-level delegation, comprising of the foreign minister and high officials from the Prime Ministers' Office, ministries of the foreign affairs, and the labour and employment.
